On the final damp Sunday afternoon in April volunteers from Gabriola Lions Club and GaLTT worked together in Drumbeg Park meadow to cut the newly flowering broom and allow the replanted native species such as Blue-eyed Mary, Sea Blush, Camas lilies, and Spring Gold to flower and spread. Please cut the broom (below ground-level) while it flowers in YOUR neighbourhood.
