Islands Trust (IT) is in the process of reviewing its policies and has called for public comments on its most recent draft. GaLTT with Mayne Island Conservancy took the lead in developing a joint response to IT that was signed by eleven of the twelve Gulf Island conservancies.
We urge you to also make your personal opinions about the revised IT policies known to the Islands Trust.
GaLTT is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to protect and restore natural ecosystems on Gabriola and nearby islands, to help provide trail access and other opportunities for people to explore and connect with the natural environment, and to encourage responsible land and water stewardship practices.
