Sponsorship opportunities

As an organization we depend on donations and contributions of various kinds to fund much of our work. GaLTT is currently developing guidelines for a range of sponsorship opportunities; these may include advertising opportunities or event sponsorships. Watch this space for more details!

Memorial benches

In 2021 GaLTT volunteers installed a memorial bench at the public shore access just north of Drumbeg Park, with its beautiful view of Breakwater and Saturnina Islands. The bench (shown above with the builder and installation crew) was purchased by his family to lovingly honour the memory of Captain James R. Ewart, MM. The bench was designed and built by Dave Neads, a member of the Gabriola Woodworkers Guild. He used live-edge maple donated by Linda Harrison in memory of her husband Konrad Mauch. We thank the Ewart family and Linda for choosing to memorialize their loved ones in a way that enhances public enjoyment of this lovely area.
