The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) invites the public to celebrate the new 707 Community Park addition on Gabriola Island. As part of the celebration, Vanessa Craig, Regional District of Nanaimo board chair and Hugh Skinner, Gabriola Land & Trails Trust (GaLTT) president will say a few words followed by a ribbon cutting and a short walking tour. Attendees should wear suitable footwear with good grips for the optional walk. Refreshments will be provided.
