You’re Invited! First Broom Work Party of 2026
With a new year ahead of us, we’re back at work removing Scotch Broom in the front meadow at Drumbeg.
Join our Habitat Restoration Committee on Sunday, January 11th at 1:30pm in the parking lot.
We’ll provide loppers. Please bring gloves, if you’d like them!
We look forward to seeing you there for the first of many work parties restoring this special Garry Oak ecosystem.
GaLTT is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to protect and restore natural ecosystems on Gabriola and nearby islands, to help provide trail access and other opportunities for people to explore and connect with the natural environment, and to encourage responsible land and water stewardship practices.
