Daphne is growing on both sides of a beach access trail east of El Verano and crowding out the native species – wild rose and Oregon grape. Let’s get it under control so that they can have room to breathe again!
- Sunday, January 22nd at 1:30pm
- Beach access trail off South Road just east of El Verano. Park safely off to the side of the road and meet near trail entrance. (Details: see blog post.)
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Please bring work gloves. We’ll supply secateurs or loppers but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
If you can’t join us this time, winter work parties continue through February and March on alternate Sundays, so there will be plenty more opportunities to help!
