As part of the RDN FireSmart program, the GVFD has organised delivery of a large roll-off disposal bin for 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday April 26th – Thursday April 27th, which will be placed behind the Church Street Firehall. (Watch for signs on North Road directing vehicles into the loading area.) This is an opportunity to dispose of invasive plants you have removed from your property, as well as other shrub or tree branches that are too big to go into your green cart.
Drop-off will be accepted from 9-5 only – or until the bin is full. NO further drop-off will be accepted after that.
