Meet on Dorby, just off Peterson Road – watch out for the GaLTT work-party sign by the roadside. We’ll be working our way along Dorby, so be prepared for a gentle walk as part of this!
What to bring to work-parties: Gloves, hand pruners and a bag for flower-heads. We provide hori-hori knives to help get plant roots out – and cold drinks to keep you refreshed!
GaLTT is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to protect and restore natural ecosystems on Gabriola and nearby islands, to help provide trail access and other opportunities for people to explore and connect with the natural environment, and to encourage responsible land and water stewardship practices.
