Meet on Fleet Street to tackle roadside tansy ragwort.
The two GaLTT invasives work-parties scheduled for this week will be the last of the tansy ragwort season, as plants are rapidly going to seed in most parts of the island. So these are your last opportunities to join us for a chance to win a splendid bucket of flowers, generously donated by Just Another Weed Patch farm!
GaLTT is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to protect and restore natural ecosystems on Gabriola and nearby islands, to help provide trail access and other opportunities for people to explore and connect with the natural environment, and to encourage responsible land and water stewardship practices.
