If you are a Gabriola resident and have landscape waste from your property in need of disposal, this is your opportunity to drop it off.
The Gabriola Volunteer Fire Department Firesmart Landscape Waste drop off event, held in partnership with GaLTT and the BC Ministry of Transportation, will happen at an area near the South Road Fire Hall on Saturday and Sunday, July 29-30 from 8 am to noon. (No early bird or late deliveries accepted).
Yard waste accepted: any landscaping waste material generated from yard clean up and FireSmarting activities!

Please note:
– Gabriola residents only.
– No early birds or late admittance.
– The drop-off will NOT accept stumps, treated or painted wood, plywood, construction waste, plastics or synthetic materials.
– No commercial vehicles.
– The site will be under surveillance, all loads will be inspected to ensure no prohibited materials end up in the pile, and signing a waiver when you check in will be required.
