Work parties continued to pull out invasive Daphne laureola all around the island before it went to seed and the Community Engagement Committee held a workshop to train landscape professionals to identify and control invasive plants in the course of their work.
GaLTT is a non-profit, charitable organization with a mandate to protect and restore natural ecosystems on Gabriola and nearby islands, to help provide trail access and other opportunities for people to explore and connect with the natural environment, and to encourage responsible land and water stewardship practices.
