GaLTT’s Winter Walkabout: Trees is getting in gear! We’ve organized ten self-guided weekly walks over the next months, taking you to some of Gabriola’s most beloved trees. Each Wednesday there’ll be a new walk notice in the Sounder, and GaLTT members will be emailed an infosheet with a map and information about the trees and other things you’ll see on the walk. (You can email programs@galtt.ca to confirm your membership status.)
Our first walk goes live on January 12th—watch for it.
Drop by North Road Sports to pick up a Trail Journal to document your walks (or download a printer-friendly Winter Walkabout lettersize version).
Complete at least 7/10 walks and submit your Journal to North Road Sports by the end of March, and you’ll be entered to win one of three prizes: a day pack, head lamp or water bottle.
