As Gabriola’s big-leaf maples shed their leaves this blustery Fall, we were busy planning our 2022 series of self-guided winter walks. This time we’ll be taking you to view some of Gabriola’s most beloved trees. Many can be found on our Big Tree Registry, but others have been chosen by our members. Each week for 10 weeks starting in January we’ll describe and mark a new route for you to explore. By the time the spring comes, maybe some trees will be blooming!
